Beyond Business: Intan Chemical Group’s Day of Prayer and Unity

At Jong Ma Chemical (JMC), we believe that a company’s strength isn’t just measured by its market share, but by the positive impact it creates for the community.

Recently, our parent organization, Intan Chemical Group, paused its daily operations to focus on gratitude and connection. In a demonstration of its deep commitment to social responsibility, the company hosted a Doa Bersama (Joint Prayer) event, welcoming the children from Yayasan Pondok Furqon to the facility.

Here is a reflection on this meaningful gathering.

A Atmosphere of Reverence

The event took place in a beautifully arranged tent on the company grounds, adorned with elegant purple and white drapery that set a tone of peace and respect.

It was a moving sight to see Intan Chemical Group employees and management coming together with the children, all dressed in traditional attire. This wasn't just a corporate event; it was a gathering of families and neighbors, united by a shared purpose of reflection and prayer.

Sharing Joy and Support

During the program, the focus was entirely on the children. Participants joined in prayers, shared warm meals, and distributed specially prepared gift packages.

While these gestures—a meal, a gift, a prayer—might seem simple, they carry a profound message. They are intended to foster a sense of belonging and to let the children of Yayasan Pondok Furqon know that they are supported, cared for, and valued by the industry leaders next door.

Values That Drive Us

For us at JMC, witnessing this event reinforces why we are proud to be part of the Intan Chemical Group network. It serves as a reminder that empathy is a core pillar of our corporate identity.

Intan Chemical Group continues to prioritize initiatives that build community connections, proving that we are not just a business entity, but a responsible corporate citizen.

We are grateful for the blessings shared during this Doa Bersama and look forward to continuing our support for vulnerable groups in our community.
